A Christians in ELT Conference was held at San Francisco Lighthouse Church in conjunction with the CATESOL convention. Three panelists discussed being a Christian in a secular job setting. There was a presentation on church-based ESL. Rich Robison spoke on Truthfulness in English Teaching and Kitty Purgason spoke on Popular Songs, ELT, and Spiritual Issues. Approximately 40 people were in attendance. Thanks to Kitty Purgason (Biola University faculty) for contacting speakers and to Vivian Wang (Biola University MA TESOL student) for managing the conference.
